ChatGPT subscription free for up to a year: New offer with a Revolut account

Up until a few months ago, using artificial intelligence was mostly free for private individuals, as the free tier or trial subscription almost always provided sufficiently high usage limits. Recently, however, a trend has emerged where providers continue to restrict free usage in order to make paid subscriptions more appealing.
The neobank Revolut seems to have recognized this growing demand. The company, which has stood out in the past for its highly unconventional bank cards and is known for offering numerous partner perks, is now offering customers with a Premium, Metal, or Ultra bank account up to twelve months of free access to the ChatGPT-Go subscription.
This primarily offers higher usage limits than the free tier and greater access to new models like GPT-5.5 Instant. The subscription, which normally costs around $8 per month, serves as the middle tier between free usage and the much more expensive Plus subscription, which offers additional access to Deep Research, Codex, custom GPTs, and other new features, as well as more memory and context.
Specifically, Revolut Premium customers receive six months of free access to ChatGPT-Go, twelve months are included for Metal users, and Ultra customers even get a year of access for themselves and an additional guest user. This brings the value of this perk to up to around $192 – particularly interesting, of course, if you were planning to take out an AI subscription anyway.
