The CATL Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank has been unveiled in China. Shown at an event celebrating the launch of the Avatr 12 Quad Laser Edition EV, this accessory appears to have a minimal design with a slim metal shell. However, the product is not readily available at the time of writing.

CATL has unveiled its first power bank in China. The accessory was shown at the launch event of the Avatr 12 Quad Laser Edition EV. The company behind this new electric vehicle, Avatr Technology, is a joint venture between Changan Automobile, a Chinese state-owned manufacturer, and Chinese battery manufacturer CATL.

This new accessory is called the CATL Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank. It appears to have a relatively slim profile, like the Xiaomi Ultra Slim Power Bank 5000 mAh (curr. €25.99 at Amazon Germany). Images of the product show a two-toned metal shell with a blue finish and minimal CATL branding. Plus, it seems to have five LED lights, indicating the remaining battery level. Unfortunately, further details like the number and type of outputs on the power bank, and its battery capacity, have yet to be confirmed.

For now, the CATL Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank is only available as a free gift for those who purchase the new Avatr 12 Quad Laser Edition EV. At the time of writing, it is unclear whether this accessory could go on general sale in China at some point in the future.
