At R5 200, the BV6000 falls into the mid-range bracket. What makes the device most pleasing though, is that the money you're paying is not only going towards a rugged device, but also one that will stand you in good stead when you're away from the type of environment it's designed to handle.

Model: The Blackview BV6000 is an IP68 certified smartphone which is specifically made to be tough with decent hardware specification. IP68 is a special waterproof, dustproof and shockproof certification which indicates that no dust can enter the enclosure of the smartphone, as well as that it is capable of staying in more than 1 meter of water for at least 30 minutes. This feature is definitely very distinctive from most of the smartphones in the market which usually go up to IP67. The Blackview BV6000 is built with bumps resistance, press withstand, waterproof and scratch resistance. The toughness of this phone is mainly due to the fact that the Blackview BV6000 has a CNC full metal frame and a polycarbonate fibreglass enclosure to hold the smartphone components. Moreover, the display is also protected by Corning Gorilla glass 3 to resist scratches. With so many protective features built into the smartphone, the Blackview BV6000 is suitable for users who require a more resistant smartphone that can survive in a harsh outdoor environment such as mountain climbers or underwater divers.
Inside it includes a MTK6755 64bit Octa Core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz, a Mali-T860MP2 GPU, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage capacity. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow system uses a Blackview customised UI for a fresh user experience. As for the camera, it features a 13 MP f/2.0 rear camera with autofocus and flash. Besides that, it has a 5 MP front camera for video calls. With its IP68 certification, it is safe to say that the Blackview BV6000 can be used to take photos even in the rain or in shallow underwater which breaks the limitation of smartphone photography experience. This is the kind of feature which might not seem necessary but is completely useful when you have it. The display of the Blackview BV6000 is a 4.7 inch HD screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It needs to be in that size because this smartphone is bulkier with its cushioning material to withstand damages. it is a clear effort to compensate screen size for a smaller size body. Another plus point for the Blackview BV6000 is the large capacity non-removable Lithium-ion battery. The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh. Fast charge support on the battery can charge the battery to full capacity at 2.5 hours.
For connectivity, it features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1 and GPS. The Blackview BV6000 supports dual SIM with dual standby with 4G LTE and is sold unlocked for worldwide use. Sensors built into the smartphone include atmosphere pressure sensor and compass. An atmosphere pressure sensor could be useful for people who like mountain climbing. It helps to calculate the elevation of a mountain via measuring atmospheric pressure. The phone is available in three colors, which are sunshine yellow, violet black and army green. The Blackview BV6000 is a really good phone for its specific reasons. It is especially made to be a tough phone, which isn’t important to the majority users. However, if for some reason a person requires his or her phone to be extremely tough and good, this is the phone to go with.

This display is tiny. You will probably see very little on the screen and be able to use mini-resolutions.

This brand from the Blackview International Group was created in Hong Kong in 2013. Smartphones are the focus of marketing.
However, there are only few reviews and the market shares are very low (2016).
68.5%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
