The low RAM capacity will instantly turn away most buyers. If that doesn't bother you, however, then the sale isn't so bad considering the display and support that come with the Surface family.

The Microsoft Surface Pro series is home to some of the best Windows tablets in the market. However, that doesn't mean every configuration is a good deal. The cheapest SKUs often come with very low RAM and storage that will quickly fill up even for moderate applications.

The latest deal at Best Buy is for the Surface Pro 7 at its base-level configuration with a passively-cooled Core i3 Ice Lake CPU, 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB SSD. These specifications are the bare minimum nowadays which make it sufficient for web browsing, emailing, and video playback. If that's all you plan on doing, then the sale might be of interest especially since it includes the Type Cover keyboard. Otherwise, skip or invest in a SKU with 8 GB of RAM for longer legs.
