Baseus reveals more powerful 5000mAh portable power bank
The Baseus Magnetic Rotating Stand Power Bank 5000mAh 20W has arrived in China. The portable power bank has a ring at the rear, which can be used to hold the device securely. Alternatively, it allows the accessory to act as a stand. The ring can rotate 360° and open at angles between 40° and 120°, allowing you to find a position that suits you.
The MagSafe wireless charging pad on the front of the Magnetic Rotating Stand Power Bank allows you to charge a phone at up to 15W. Baseus suggests that this will enable you to charge an iPhone 15 to 70% in 30 minutes. For context, it indicates that an older wireless power bank capped at 7.5W would only achieve a 55% charge in the same timeframe. You can also use the USB-C port for PD fast charging at 20W, which is said to provide a 43% charge to an iPhone 15 Pro Max in half an hour. As well as an iPhone, you could use the device to charge AirPods and various smartphones from brands like Samsung, Huawei, and Oppo.
LEDs indicate the remaining battery level and charging status, and there are nine safety features to protect against issues like overheating and overvoltage. The compact accessory weighs 147g (~5.2 oz) and measures 71 x 108 x 13 mm (~2.8 x 4.3 x 0.5 inches). You can now buy the Baseus Magnetic Rotating Stand Power Bank 5000mAh 20W in China for 199 yuan (~$28). Whether or when the accessory could launch in other markets like the US, where Baseus already sells older models like the MagPro Portable Charger, remains to be seen.
