Baldur's Village: New Stardew Valley mod brings Baldur's Gate 3 characters into the game
This is certainly not what Eugene Evans from Baldur's Gate publisher Wizard of the Coast meant when he told PC Gamer in an interview that investments have already been made in other games in the D&D universe: A small team of three developers is currently working on a mod for Stardew Valley that will bring characters from Baldur's Gate 3 into the game, which in turn originate from the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
This information became known through a post by X-user and member of the development team Xun. However, it is not yet known who exactly is behind "Baldur's Village".

Hi, let me introduce to you our new crazy project .We are making a Stardew Valley mod that will include a new map and residents from Baldur's Gate 3. The characters we are currently working… pic.twitter.com/O4I3p1AUYH
What are the benefits of the mod?
To date, an independent map, four different building types and artwork for the characters Astarion, Shadowheart and Gale have been completed. More characters are to follow. It is not known whether there will be any new gameplay elements. However, players can look forward to many new dialogs. A unique love story is even planned for the vampire Astarion.
Although the three-person development team describe themselves as "amateurs", the first screenshots and pixel portraits of the mysterious cleric Shadowheart and the charming vampire Astarion are certainly impressive.
