During this event that will take place at Computex 2016 in Taipei, Asus is expected to reveal the ZenFone 3 handset, as well as its sibling known as ZenFone 3 Deluxe.

The ZenFone lineup will soon reach its third generation and, as far as the rumors and leaks revealed so far, the ZenFone 3 devices will remain in the budget-friendly area of the market. The new Asus handsets are expected to offer an attractive design, decent specs and performance, all for a good price. Although the details are not public yet, Asus has started the official countdown to the Zenvolution event.

Asus Zenvolution will take place in Taiwan, on May 30th. The event is less than a month away and will unfold just one day before the debut of the Computex 2016 international technology show. Most rumors claim that Zenvolution will host the launch of ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Deluxe. These handsets are expected to feature 2.5D glass, USB Type-C connectivity, cameras that feature flash on both front and back, as well as laser autofocus and the fingerprint reader that slowly becomes "a must" even for mid-rangers.

We can only hope for Asus to tease some specs and features in the weeks to come since there is no official information about the details of any ZenFone 3 device so far. In the worst-case scenario, the new ZenFone devices might not even show up at the event, but that remains to be seen. We will get back to this topic as soon as we hear anything new.

Although I have been writing about new software and hardware for almost a decade, I consider myself to be old school. I always enjoy listening to music on CD or tape instead of digital files and I will not even get into the touchscreen vs physical keys debate. However, I also enjoy new technology, as I now have the chance to take a look at the future every day. I joined the Notebookcheck crew back in 2013 and I have no plans to leave the ship anytime soon.
