Asus X00GD is a mid-range smartphone with a high-capacity battery
Asus has recently cleared a 5.2-inch mid-range phone, listed as "X00GD" with China's telecommunications equipment certifier TENAA. A mid-range phone with relatively low HD resolution and a high-capacity 4,850mAh battery, the X00GD will likely stand out due to incredible battery life.
The handset measures a fairly standard 149.5 x 73.7 x 8.85mm with a 5.2" 1280 × 720 TFT display, according to TENAA. Other specifications include an 8-core 1.5GHz SoC, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of storage. The phone will release with Android 7.0 and weighs 169.5g.
Both the screen resolution (relatively low) and the design hint at a mid-range device. The design looks to be mostly plastic, with the back using a metallic finish (it could turn out to be real aluminum, however) and 1280 x 720 is unthinkable for today's flagship phones. Still, if you want a device that will last you for two or more days without a recharge, this looks like it will be a good choice.
