Here’s a simple question: what do you ask from your laptop, apart from the basic things like battery life and performance? If your answer to that is a “nice display”, this laptop more than ticked that box. Apart from that, the ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED offers solid performance for daily office tasks, and even some moderate multitasking if you’re really pushing it. That said, a few minor issues on the speakers and graphics definitely held back its potential as a great media machine. The asking price of RM3,299 for this particular configuration is nothing short of amazing value at least.

In terms of battery life, the VivoBook 15X OLED can last around six hours with its 70WHr battery. As you can see, the OLED screen does mean that the laptop's battery doesn't last as long as laptops with Full HD IPS panels. But it does support 90W charging, which is quite fast from our experience. Overall, the ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED is a laptop with one of the best displays in its price range. While it's considered ordinary in most other aspects, the high-quality display makes it stand out from other laptops in this category. Of course, the trade-off is weaker battery life. If you want to watch Netflix movies in the best possible quality without spending much, this laptop could be perfect for you. But if you're in the market for a more standard laptop, the RedmiBook 15 might be the better option.

The ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED proves to be a sound workhorse design at a very reasonable price tag . The colour accurate OLED display makes it of use for light photo editing and also for watching movies while having a sufficiently powerful AMD Ryzen 5 5600H CPU for its intended mission profile of handling light and general computing duties.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
