As such, the most impressive aspects are those you’ll notice on a day-to-day basis. Except for heavy gaming or video editing, performance is impressive across the board. The keyboard offers a good level of travel, feeling tactile and responsive, while the port selection should mean you can use it adapter-free.

Considering its relative affordability in a world of four-figure laptops, the latest 14in Asus VivoBook is a decent choice. Highlights include superb all-round performance, great keyboard and a solid port selection. However, it’s far from faultless, with an average screen and iffy trackpad among the most noticeable. But if you can look beyond these compromises, the VivoBook could make a great everyday laptop for many years.

Intel UHD Graphics 620: Integrated GPU (GT2, 24 EUs) found on some Kaby-Lake-Refresh CPU models (15 W ULV series). Technically identical to the previous Kaby-Lake GPU called HD Graphics 620.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

76.67%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
