Model: The Asus N580VD-DM028T GTX 1050 is a slim and lightweight high-performance laptop that’s powered by a 7th Generation Intel Core processor. It features a 4K UHD display with 100% sRGB color gamut, high-quality NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 gaming-grade graphics, audio co-developed by Harman Kardon, and the latest cooling and fast-charge technologies. Its unibody aluminum design and the optional fingerprint reader with Windows Hello support are some of the notable features. Each VivoBook Pro 15 is milled from high-strength aluminum that undergoes a series of intricate manufacturing processes to achieve its sleek and elegant final form. The days of typing in the password are over where Windows Hello requires only a single touch to log in. Asus is promising this to be the lightest notebook in its VivoBook Pro series and, indeed, a quick glance at its design shows many similarities to the existing ZenBook 3 series of Ultrabooks. The laptop features a robust cooling system to ensure smooth and stable performance during high-load multitasking or gaming marathons. An intelligent dual-fan design has eight automatically-adjustable speeds to deliver maximum cooling efficiency with minimal noise. It's compact, hyper-cool, dual-copper thermal module leverages system heat pipes and fans to independently increase CPU and GPU performance. At the heart of the laptop is the 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor for superior performance. With 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, the VivoBook Pro 15 delivers processing power for effortless multitasking and of course, gaming.
When equipped with an optional high-performance SSD, the laptop offers class-leading data access speeds. For ultra-fast connectivity, the laptop features dual band 802.11ac Wi-Fi for speeds that are claimed to be 6x faster than 802.11n. With up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 gaming-grade graphics, the graphic card delivers great visuals, which are perfect for gaming, watching movies, or editing 4K UHD videos. For display, Asus combines optimized hardware and software to provide sharp visuals. A 4K UHD panel with wide-view technology, 72% NTSC and 100% sRGB color gamut, and ASUS Splendid display technology provide richer, deeper and more accurate colors for any content displayed on the panel. Additionally, the laptop delivers amazing audio co-developed by Harman Kardon. The speakers are powered with 8cc chambers and the Smart Amplifier technology helps maximizing volume while maintaining crystal-clear sound. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile: Mainstream graphics card based on Nvidia's Pascal architecture and successor to the GeForce GTX 960M. Is manufactured in a 14nm process at Samsung and the technical specifications are very similar to the desktop version.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
