Overall, this is an excellent device. The OLED display does have its downsides, but the contrast ratio of OLED is hard to ignore. The Vivobook Pro 15 is well-built, stylish, thin, light, and packed with some great component choices. Perhaps the best part of all is the price though. At $1100 USD for the Ryzen 7 model with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD storage, it is certainly one of the most affordable ways to get into an OLED notebook. If you know how to treat the OLED right, this notebook will easily return the favor. It is a joy to use, and the display, despite its downsides, is wonderful.

Your opinion on the Asus Vivobook Pro 15 OLED will have everything to do with what a Pro laptop means to you. If you view Pro as a signifier of performance, you won't be disappointed. The Vivobook Pro 15 OLED isn't screaming fast but performs well for its price and includes a top-tier display as a bonus. Asus is delivering a lot of value. If you want it for professional work, be wary. It makes unfortunate connectivity choices including a hampered USB-C port and a Micro SD reader instead of full-sized SD. The display's meager 1080p resolution could be a problem, too. Still, the Vivobook's performance makes it a good choice if you want a fast mid-range laptop that won't clean out your wallet. It's especially appealing for students and frequent fliers who need a well-rounded laptop for gaming, streaming, and day-to-day productivity.

This AMD-variant of the VivoBook Pro 15 series is one of the best-balanced mid-tier all-around laptops you can get for around 1000 EUR at this point. Asus offers this in either affordable configurations with Radeon graphics, or more powerful units with 8C Ryzen processors and an RTX 3050 chip, and both are perfectly capable of handling everyday multitasking and regular school/work loads, as well as some gaming on the side. Just make sure to understand and accept the particularities and quirks explained in the detailed review down below.
