The same can be said about the I/O. You have a total of 4 USB ports, one of which is a Type-C, there is a MicroSD card reader, as well as an HDMI connector. Unfortunately, two of the USB ports are 2.0, which is unexplainable in 2021. Nevertheless, some corners had to be cut, if you’re going to offer a Ryzen 7 4700U at a low price (we hope that it will be available ASAP).

At its price, the VivoBook S14 Ryzen 5 is great value for money and doesn’t do much wrong. The display panel here isn’t the best, as we mentioned above, but is more than just workable. Chances that a decently crisp panel with muted colours being a dealbreaker on a thin-and-light at this price are slim anyway. The VivoBook is hence a great work laptop with its performance, feature-sets and portability being its top advantages. It’s ability to get work done makes it a good deal for those who work on the move and an even better package for students wanting a little more oomph than an entry-level machine.

The Asus VivoBook S14 would have made for an excellent buy about two years ago. Unfortunately, portability is not everyone’s priority these days. Even now, this laptop can be a sweet deal for a lot of users, especially because it is quite affordable at under Rs 70,000. The Asus VivoBook S14 is perfect for daily office work, video calls, web browsing, video streaming and offers a good value for money as well. Students and professionals in the market for a compact laptop should definitely consider it.Live TV

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated, a Taiwanese multinational company, produces motherboards, graphics cards, optical drives, PDAs, computer monitors, notebook computers, servers, networking products, mobile phones, computer cases, computer components, and computer cooling systems. The company's 2007 revenues reached US$6.9 billion. ASUS also produces components for other manufacturers. The Eee PC initiated the netbook boom in 2008.
In the notebook sector, Asus had a global market share of about 11% from 2014-2016, making it the fourth largest laptop manufacturer. In the smartphone sector, Asus is not among the Top 5 and has only a small market share (as of 2016).
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

AMD Renoir (Ryzen 4000 APU):
R7 4700U: A mobile Octa-Core APU with Zen 2 cores clocked at 2 to 4.1 GHz and a Vega graphics adapter with 7 CUs clocked at up to 1600 MHz. Compared to the faster 4800U, the 4700U offers a slightly lower boost clock speed and does not support SMT.
AMD Lucienne (Zen 2, Ryzen 5000):
R5 5500U: A hexa-core APU designed for use in ultra-thin, upper mid-range laptops. The Ryzen features six Zen 2 CPU cores running at 2.1 GHz to 4.0 GHz alongside the Vega 7 graphics adapter (448 unified shaders running at up to 1,800 MHz). One could be forgiven for thinking Ryzen 5 5500U is a renamed Ryzen 5 4500U - which is not the case. Ryzen 5 5500U is most similar to Ryzen 5 4600U, the most noteworthy difference between the two being the faster iGPU model of the former.
