Reviews for the Asus N751JK-T4147H
Source: Laptop Media

ASUS N751JK is a well-built multimedia laptop without any major flaws. The design is not only sleek, but it is functional and the good cooling system actually justifies the above average weight. You can easily remove the battery and upgrade with a m.2 SATA SSD without any risks of voiding the warranty. There are even several extra screws in the box.

Configuration involves 3.5GHz Intel Core i7 4710HQ quad-core processor, 8GB DDR3 of RAM, a built-in 1TB SATA hard disk drive (available in versions with SSD drives), as well as the combination of the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 graphics, and a separate NVIDIA GeForce GTX850M with 2GB of dedicated memory. This great combination works fast and only the SSD would additionally speed things up, although most of the users will have no objections anyway, since the processor and graphics subsystem easily can cope with any task. In addition, a 6-cell battery provides about 4hrs of work, which is quite good given the large 17.3" screen. Thanks to the N751 model, ASUS made another step forward, and this laptop is equally good choice for work or gaming even for more demanding users.
Positive: Extremely attractive design; aluminum construction; SonicMaster Premium, Bang & Olufsen sound; excellent configuration and performance; large FHD IPS screen.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M: Upper mid-range graphics card from the GeForce GTX 800M series.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
4710HQ: Haswell-based quad-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz with Turbo Boost support up to 3.5 GHz. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 4600 GPU and a dual channel DDR3 memory controller.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

This large display size is used for laptops which are mainly intended for an use on a desk.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.3.4 kg:
In former years, this weight was representative for laptops with a 14-16 inch display-diagonal. Nowadays, 17 inch laptops weigh less than that.
Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated, a Taiwanese multinational company, produces motherboards, graphics cards, optical drives, PDAs, computer monitors, notebook computers, servers, networking products, mobile phones, computer cases, computer components, and computer cooling systems. The company's 2007 revenues reached US$6.9 billion. ASUS also produces components for other manufacturers. The Eee PC initiated the netbook boom in 2008.
In the notebook sector, Asus had a global market share of about 11% from 2014-2016, making it the fourth largest laptop manufacturer. In the smartphone sector, Asus is not among the Top 5 and has only a small market share (as of 2016).
80%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
