Apple reportedly about to expand interest free offerings
In the United States, Apple has been offering interest-free terms on iPhone purchases via their store using the Apple Card. Unfortunately, this hasn’t extended to other Apple products where any interest-free finance terms are offered via a Barclaycard, or via other card providers in regions were the Apple Card isn’t available*.
This is likely to change soon, according to anonymous sources cited in a Bloomberg report. The move makes sense since it was unusual that Apple offered a more wide-reaching finance option through a partner’s card — even if the terms were more restrictive.
