Deal | Amazon expands March 2026 giveaway lineup with four free games on Luna

Amazon announced the March 2026 game giveaway lineup for Luna earlier this month, and so far, three out of the thirteen freebies have become available to claim. Now, four more went live.

These four new additions are available alongside the three free games that became available earlier in March 2026. However, it's worth noting that only Amazon Prime members can claim these freebies. Those without the subscription, it's worth noting that there's a one-month free trial option for new subscribers.

As for the newly added free games, Total War: Rome II - Emperor Edition is the main highlight. It was released in 2013, and this strategy game puts players in ancient Rome. The gameplay mixes turn-based campaign management with real-time tactical battles.

This specific edition of the game refines the base version with rebalanced combat, better visuals, and better in-game politics. However, its steep learning curve can be overwhelming for new players of tactical strategy games. It's worth $59.99 when not on sale, and Amazon is offering an Epic Games Store code for it.

Veil of Darkness is among the others, and it's a horror-action-adventure game from 1993 with RPG elements and point-and-click exploration. It's praised for the compelling vampire narrative, which blends well with the eerie setting. However, the combat mechanics and controls are dated, even for a 1993 title. It retails for $9.99 when not discounted, and Amazon is offering a GOG code for free.

Two more free games have been unlocked on Amazon Luna

Turmoil is also being given away on Luna, and this 2016 simulation game recreates the 19th-century American oil rush with physics-based drilling mechanics. Its humorous gameplay loop is often praised by players, but some levels can feel repetitive after the initial ones. This current free game retails for $12.99, and on Luna, an Epic Games Store code is up for grabs.

The last newly added free game is Mahokenshi - The Samurai Deckbuilder. It's a 2023 deckbuilding roguelike with hex-grid tactics. Its strategic depth is a big highlight, and there are beautiful Japanese mythology arts throughout the maps. However, the mission structure is somewhat repetitive, and deckbuilding lacks variety in the card pool.

When not on sale, this free game on Amazon Luna costs $24.99, and through Luna, Amazon is offering a GOG code to eligible users.
