Deal | Amazon discounts Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 to near holiday lows after $470 price cut
The navy Samsung Z Fold6 512 GB smartphone has been discounted 23% on Amazon after a $470.02 price cut. The $1549.97 sales price is just $40.71 higher than the lowest Amazon has ever offered on this powerful, foldable smartphone. This is valid for the Navy color option, with the other two being even more affordable. The discount comes a few months before the expected launch of the Z Fold7, and Samsung has already previewed possible improvements to the display technology at MWC 2025.
The Z Fold 6 has been reviewed by Notebookcheck and given an 86% good rating. The phone was found to have a very bright OLED display capable of reaching a peak brightness of 2,778 cd/m² (HDR content) that makes it clearly visible even on sunny days. The powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy CPU with 12 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB of storage keeps gamers and creators happy with Galaxy S24 Ultra-like performance.
The large OLED display makes it easy to compose, take, and edit photos from the triple primary cameras (50 MP 23 mm wide, 10 MP 66 mm tele with 3x optical zoom, and 12 MP 12 mm ultrawide) and dual front cameras (4 MP 26 mm and 10 MP 24 mm).
The upper half of the phone can get very hot during heavy use or extended gaming, so users should keep their hands on the lower half to avoid discomfort. Wi-Fi browsing tests found the battery lasts 913 minutes between charges, which is 20% shorter than the 1,148 minute runtime of the S24 Ultra.
