The Intel Core i5-12600K was a very popular processor in 2022 and its sub-US$200 price keeps it in the spotlight even now. According to Amazon price tracker Camelcamelcamel, the price of this desktop processor reached an all-time low US$193.87 on March 24, 2023. Now, those interested can grab it for US$197.01, thanks to a 42% discount, which is still far better than the US$228.86 average (based on the last 50 price changes).

With 1,175 user reviews validated so far, the Intel Core i5-12600K has an excellent rating of 4.8/5 Amazon stars. The breakdown by feature focuses on gaming performance (4.8), value for money (4.6), and stability (4.5) alongside the "easy to lock" attribute, which gets a 4.7/5 rating. 

Although it has a rather high TDP of 125 W, this processor's architecture that combines P-cores and E-Cores allows for both improved power efficiency and overclocking performance, depending on scenario.
