Deal | Adata XPG Xenia 15G gaming laptop with i7-13700H and RTX 4060 plus XPG Precog headset only US$1,199
Adata’s XPG Xenia gaming laptops are rarely seen with enticing discounts at major retailers, but B&H is currently making an exception and is offering this year’s 15.6-inch model bundled with the XPG Precog headset for only US$1,199.
At this price, the configuration includes Intel’s i7-13700H processor with 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores clocked at a maximum of 5 GHz plus 24 MB L3 cache. Since XPG is Adata’s gaming-oriented sub-brand, the RAM and storage components are provided by Adata, as well, ensuring a higher-than-average performance compared to similarly priced competitors. As such, the Xenia 15G comes with 16 GB DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1 TB Legend 850 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. Additionally, the RTX 4060 dGPU is operating at maximum capacity with a 140 W TGP.
There are, nevertheless, some minor downsides for this model. The display is limited to 1080p resolution, but offers 100% sRGB color gamut, 300 nit maximum brightness and 144 Hz refresh rate. Port selection is missing Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, yet it is still quite robust with, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1 and miniDP 1.4 video outs, 1 GbE jack and audio jacks. Webcam is also limited to 720p and the battery is almost 50% smaller compared to previous models at only 53.35 Wh. Wireless connectivity is provided through a Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.2 card. This is not the most compact model either, with a 1.1-inch (28 mm) profile and 5.1 lbs (2.3 kg) weight.
