Acer has a lot of devices to show at this year's IFA trading show in Berlin and one of them is the new Aspire R 13 convertible that has been updated "for a faster, more productive, and versatile user experience." Its highlights include Windows 10, Qualcomm WiFi with MU-MIMO technology, as well as 6th generation Intel Core processors.
The new Acer Aspire R 13 (R7-372T) has a U-frame structure made made of die-casted magnesium-alloys that "enhances stiffness and is infinitively adaptive" and features the innovative Ezel Aero Hinge to ease transition between modes. It supports Thunderbolt 3 and can use two SSDs in a RAID-0 setup to deliver massive data throughput speeds.
Detailed specs are not available yet, but the new Aspire R 13 will hit North America next month starting at $899 USD. As usual, prices and availability may vary by region. For more details, please check the press release below.
