Parallel to the events of Computex 2015 in Taipei, Acer has revealed new Aspire E-series notebooks for the German market. As per usual for the Aspire E models, the new models will be available in Turquoise, Red, Black, Blue, and Yellow.

To liven the visual appeal, the plastic case has been treated with 3D printing and laser engravings for a more unique take on texture in the budget market. Models start as small as 14-inches up to 15.6-inches and 17.3-inches with 768p and 1080p display options. Users will also be able to choose between AMD A10 or FX processors with Radeon Dual Graphics or Intel Core ix and Nvidia GT 840M GPUs.

The new Aspire E noteboooks are available now starting for 499 Euros. The 15-inch model with a Full HD display, dedicated GPU, and primary SSD will start at around 780 Euros. No word yet on a stateside release.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s. When I'm not managing day-to-day activities and US review articles on Notebookcheck, you can catch me following the eSports scene and the latest gaming news.
