Model: The Acer Liquid Jade Z Plus is a mid-range smartphone at a reasonable price point. The bar designed device is rounded at the edges and has a chromed bezel. Rear of the device is a nicely contoured back plate with a matte finish that fits the hand snugly. The Acer Liquid Jade Z Plus comes in either white or black. The 5.0 inch IPS LCD display with 294 ppi pixel density is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Colors, brightness and sharpness are good. Largely due to the speaker placement at the rear of the device, the audio quality is average at best.
The Acer Liquid Jade Z Plus comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop and sports a Cortex-A53 quad core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM, a Mali-760MP2 GPU and 16 GB internal memory. Other features on the smartphone are Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, A-GPS, microSD and dual SIM support. The device ships with a 13 MP autofocus rear camera and a secondary 5 MP front camera. Acer included a Lithium-Polymer battery rated at 2300 mAh and the device is capable of up to 4 hours of talk time with a 3G network and up to 400 hours of standby time.
ARM Mali-T760 MP2: The ARM Mali-T760 MP2 offers two cores (hence the name MP2) clocked with up to 700 MHz (resulting in 48 GFLOPS).
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.
