AMD tipped to release Zen 3 XT, Zen 4 and RDNA 3 architectures next year
@Broly_X1 has delivered more information on upcoming AMD hardware, following their leak of a notebook silicon roadmap last month. As Videocardz notes, @Broly_X1 predicted most of AMD's Computex keynote, along with the Radeon Pro's launch.
Hence, while @Broly_X1's latest tweets should only be treated as rumours, they have been accurate about past AMD hardware launches. According to @Broly_X1, AMD plans to release Zen 3 XT in early 2022, possibly within Q1. Apparently, Zen 3 XT will be a Ryzen 5000 refresh, not the stacked CPUs that AMD teased at Computex.
Additionally, @Broly_X1 has provided details on RDNA 3 and Zen 4 release dates. AMD's official roadmaps peg them both for 2022, but without providing any details. @Broly_X1 claims that RDNA 3 will 'tape out later this year', with it and Zen 4 to launch simultaneously in Q4 2022.
If this timeline is accurate, then the Radeon RX 6000 series will be with us for approximately another 18 months. Likewise, we would expect AMD to continue selling Zen 3 processors alongside Zen 3 XT ones.
