Tipster @Casmoden spotted what looks to be a revamped AMD RX Radeon logo in the latest trailer for the PlayStation 5’s Godfall. The rebranding effort comes close to the arrival of AMD’s RDNA2 Big Navi later this year.

Tipster @Casmoden recently spotted what looks to be a new logo for AMD's Radeon RX graphics. The revamped Radeon logo showed up in the trailer for Godfall, an upcoming multiplayer game on PlayStation 5.

Compared to the existing Radeon logo, the biggest change how is the use of the same font AMD uses for its Ryzen CPU branding. This effectively consolidates AMD's branding for both its 7nm Ryzen CPUs and its 7nm Navi Radeon RX GPUs.

The timing of this apparent branding effort is interesting because both AMD and NVIDIA are set to reveal new GPUs this year - NVIDIA's Ampere parts and AMD's RDNA 2 Navi parts respectively. This makes it likely that we will be seeing more of this new logo in time for the Big Navi graphics card reveal, as well as the launch of the RDNA 2-powered Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 later this year.
