Amazon subsidiary Woot is now selling the 65-inch LG C5 OLED TV for less than $1,000. This price puts the LG C5 65-inch OLED below the price of the brand-new 65-inch LG B5 OLED, a TV meant to serve as the entry point to LG's 2025 OLED TV lineup.

The 65-inch LG C5 OLED TV is now enjoying a massive discount on Woot, as it can now be yours for just $997.99 (linked at the end). This sub-$1,000 price has made the LG C5 OLED TV a no-brainer for people looking for a cost-effective 4K OLED TV at a comfortably large screen size.

To put the $997.99 price of the discounted LG C5 OLED TV into perspective, Best Buy is currently selling the 65 LG C5 OLED for $1,399.99. Even the entry-level 65-inch LG B5 OLED is more expensive than the C5 OLED on sale at $999.99 at Best Buy at the time of writing.

So, what’s the catch? The LG C5 65-inch OLED TV on sale on Woot is an international version. However, there is no practical difference between the US and the international versions of the LG C5 OLED. So, you are getting the same TV, with the same 1-year limited warranty from LG.

LG C5 OLED is an exceptional mid-range OLED TV

The LG C5 OLED is one of the best-selling OLED TVs on the market, and for good reason. The TV brings OLED’s characteristic rich and deep colors, combined with high brightness, and nifty gaming features. There is also the Alpha 9 AI Processor Gen 8 to handle things like low-quality smoothing and low-res content upscaling.

The LG C5 OLED TV is highly rated due to its picture quality, color performance, wide viewing angles, and more than 1,000 nits of HDR brightness. Rtings, for instance, gave the LG C5 an 8.7/10 rating. The LG C5 also shines as a gaming display. It features a native 120 Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 inputs for 4K@144 Hz, Nvidia G-Sync/AMD FreeSync VRR technologies for minimal tearing, low input lag, and a near-instantaneous response time.

The LG C5 OLED also fully supports gaming consoles. So, you can run your PS5 or Xbox Series consoles on all supported resolutions, and with VRR enabled.

The only real cons of the LG C5 OLED is that it doesn’t get as bright as some mini LED TVs and that it can’t fight glare from direct light sources. If you don’t have a super bright living room, both of these are minor issues.
