The Hyundai Ioniq 6 has received praise for its ‘sleek’ appearance and high value-for-money proposition. The manufacturer is now making leasing more affordable with a special offer in the US.
The Ioniq 6 SE Standard Range is available for lease for as low as $169/month for 24 months, thanks to $7,500 EV lease bonus. Hyundai will also offer a $1,000 rebate to customers who lease a unit that is more than 180 days old by September 1, a day earlier than the expiration of the special lease deal.
The lease deal requires a $3,830 capitalized cost reduction, meaning $3,999 is due at signing, including the first month's payment. Hyundai does not require a security deposit, but customers must be approved by Hyundai Motor Finance.
For lessees who prefer to retain the car at the end of the contract, Hyundai offers a purchase option for $22,284, in addition to other variable fees.
The deal is subject to availability and dealer-agreed contribution, and ends on September 2.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 SE Standard Range starts at $37,850 before incentives. Its single electric motor produces 149 hp (111 kW) and is powered by a 53.0 kWh battery, which can last up to 240 miles (EPA estimates) between charges. The EV can charge up to 80 percent in just 18 minutes on 350 kW chargers and is compatible with Tesla’s Supercharger with an adapter.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 impressed Car and Driver reviewers with its range, performance, and looks.
