Infinix’s new midrange gaming smartphone with liquid cooling now available in more markets

Following its global launch, Infinix has finally launched the GT 50 Pro smartphone in the Indian market. It comes as a direct successor to the GT 30 Pro, bringing notable upgrades in terms of processor, battery, and camera. Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Unfortunately, there’s no room for storage expansion.
Infinix has incorporated a HydroFlow liquid cooling system into the GT 50 Pro. The cooling system utilizes a micro-pump to circulate coolant across a large 6,433 mm² area to keep the phone cool during extended gaming sessions. The midrange gaming smartphone features new dual-pressure mechanical triggers, which provide 10 sensitivity levels and 8 mapping points to gamers.
The GT 50 Pro has a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2644 x 1208 resolution) LTPS AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on top, providing protection against accidental falls and scratches. The battery capacity of the device is now bigger than before. It features a 6,500 mAh battery, a step up from 5,500 mAh of the GT 30 Pro. Plus, the device supports 45 W wired and 30 W wireless charging.
The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50 MP OIS-enabled main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide shooter. Up front, there is a 13 MP snapper for selfies and video shots. Furthermore, the device also supports several accessories, such as the GT NX Station, the GT NX controller, and the GT MagCharger Cooler 2.0. Other features include up to 12 GB dynamic RAM support, an N1 network chip, Dolby Atmos tuned dual speakers, an IR blaster, and customizable RGB lighting. Moreover, the smartphone runs Android 16 out of the box, and the company promises three major Android upgrades (Android 17, 18, and 19) and five years of security updates until 2031.
As for price, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is priced at ₹69,999 (~$735) for the sole 12 GB + 256 model. It’s now available for pre-order via Infinix India’s official website and Flipkart. The device will go on sale in India on October 30. Buyers can choose from black abyss and red blaze color options.
