The Honor 400 Lite has a modern design with a flat frame, a pill-shaped punch hole and triangular camera module. The phone is 0.29 inches thin, weighs 6 oz and comes with an IP 65 rating, which means that the device is only protected against water splashes and not fully waterproof. However, Honor claims that the smartphone can be used to take pictures underwater.
The 400 Lite should also survive drops from heights of up to 6 ft. The fingerprint sensor can be found on the right side of the frame, while the front sports a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and a peak HDR brightness of 3,500 nits. The pill-shaped punch-hole strongly resembles the Apple iPhone 16, but the Honor 400 Lite opted for a 16MP f/2.45 selfie camera and an LED for selfies in low light conditions.
On the back, there is a 108MP f/1.75 main camera with a 1/1.67-inch sensor as well as a 5MP depth camera. Honor also offers a 5,230mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C with up to 35 watts, but wireless charging is not supported. Moreover, the mid-range smartphone comes with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of mass storage. The Honor 400 Lite runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, though it's unclear how long the smartphone will receive software updates.
Price and availability
