Xiaomi's sub-brand, Poco, has now officially confirmed a launch date for its upcoming lineup, the Poco F7 series. The Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra will make their global debuts on March 27 with heavy inspiration from the Redmi K80 series.

The Xiaomi Poco F7 series is coming. Previous leaks and reports claimed Xiaomi would launch its next-gen price-performance champions at the end of the month and those reports have now been validated, with the company formally confirming a launch date for the phones.

As shared on the official Poco Global page, the Poco F7 series will debut on March 27. Interestingly, all recent posts shared on the Poco Global page only carry the hashtags #PocoF7Pro and #PocoF7Ultra, lending strong credence to reports that a vanilla Poco F7 will not be released. Or, at least, not on the global market.

Details of the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra have leaked over the past few weeks. It's all but confirmed that the Poco F7 Pro will debut as a rebadge of the Redmi K80, while the Poco F7 Ultra will effectively be a Redmi K80 Pro for the global market. Some differences have been mooted, however. For one, both phones are expected to arrive with smaller batteries than their Redmi counterparts. The Poco F7 Ultra is also tipped to feature a better selfie camera than the Redmi K80 Pro.
