Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro makes Geekbench debut with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 at the helm

Much like its predecessor, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is tipped to debut with a nerfed version of a flagship Qualcomm processor. This time, it will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, the Snapdragon 8 Elite's less powerful sibling. So far, this has only been speculation, but now, we know for sure thanks to a Geekbench listing.

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro showed up on the benchmarking platform under the moniker 'Xiaomi 25067PYE3C'. Its CPU core layout confirms it is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, complete with one Cortex-X4 (3.2 GHz) core and seven Cortex-A720 cores split into 3 (3.01 GHz) +2 (2.80 GHz) +2 (2.02 GHz) clusters. Lastly, it has an Adreno 825 GPU. This particular variant comes with 16 GB of RAM and runs Android 15.

In terms of single-core performance, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 powering this Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro doesn't offer much in the way of a performance improvement. The SoC scores 1,983 points, which is only marginally higher than Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (1,930). That a bit lower than initial showings where the SoC scored upwards of 2,100 points. But there is a marked improvement in its multicore showing, with the SoC scoring 6,874 points, making it 40% faster than the 8s Gen 3 (4,879 average), likely due to the all-P-core design.

Other Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro specs are unknown at this point, but earlier leaks alluded it would come with a larger battery than the Civi 4 Pro. Its dual-front cameras are here to stay, as are the three sensors at the back. But, the screen size might get slightly smaller.
