Xbox Game Pass: Four new free games this weekend, including a big title

Every weekend, Microsoft delights its gamers by offering free games to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. And for the next few days, four games are available for a limited time trial, including a world-famous headline. 

It must be said that Microsoft has been treating its millions of gamers to some pleasant surprises lately. New games have been added to Xbox Game Pass for July 2025, and between now and the end of June, players will be able to play Warcraft, Call of Duty WWII, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Little Nightmares II.

But to round out its catalog, FreePlayDays allows players to play titles for free for a limited time. And this weekend, there's a big game in which you play either a Survivor or a Killer. You guessed it, it's Dead By Daylight. 

In the latter, you will have to survive against a Killer who is played by an opposing player and hide while completing various missions. And if you are a villain, you will have to prevent the Survivors from succeeding in their tasks by killing everyone. Note that it is possible to embody iconic characters from the world of video games and cinema, such as Leon S Kennedy from Resident Evil 2, Ash from Evil Dead or Ghost Face from Scream.

But that’s not all, because if you subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass, you will also have access to Headbangers: Rhythm Royale. In this unique game, you take on the role of a pigeon who has a sense of rhythm and you must defeat your 29 opponents in four rounds that will test your abilities to adapt to different tempos.

We also find Trailmakers which is a sandbox game developed by Flashbulb Games. It is a 3D vehicle construction simulator that uses the codes of current physics and is available on the basis of an open world.

Finally, it’s Synduality: Echo of Ada that is available for free during this weekend. In this title, you will have to survive the cataclysm caused by a poisoned rain that wiped out most of humanity.
