Vivo has launched a new power bank in China. With support for 22.5 W fast charging, the company claims that the portable charger can get the iPhone 16 from 0% to 53% in 30 minutes. The iQOO 13 and Vivo X200S are said to reach 35% and 33%, respectively, in the same time frame.
Another highlight of the power bank is the built-in cable, which, paired with the slim and light form factor, makes it travel-friendly. In addition to the USB-C cable, it has a USB-C port (240 W Anker 10-feet USB-C cable curr. $16.99 on Amazon), allowing the portable charger to power up two devices at the same time.
The company further highlights that the power bank has support for a wide range of charging standards, including QC 2.0, PPS, and PD 3.0. While there's no built-in display, it has indicator lights, which can show the remaining capacity of the internal battery.
Speaking of the internal battery, the new Vivo power bank has a rated capacity of 10,000 mAh. It relies on a lithium-ion polymer cell that's paired with multiple protection features, including over-charge, over-current, and short-circuit protections for safe and stable charging.
Price-wise, the Vivo 22.5 W portable charger launched in China with a price tag of CNY 99, around $14. There's still no official word on when this affordable power bank will be available outside the Chinese market.
