Rumor | The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is on the way with triple cameras and a 120Hz display
The Xiaomi Mi 11 has only begun to go up for pre-orders in its native China, although this has not stopped reports of its Pro variant's imminent launch to knock it off its post. Furthermore, it may also soon have a Lite counterpart that might also snag some of its attention.
Its existence is allegedly confirmed in a new video by a Vietnamese YouTube channel, The Pixel. Its host now claims that the Mi 11 Lite will look much like its pre-existing bigger sibling, triangular rear cameras and all. However, its sensors are slated to be less powerful: they will come in a 64+8+5MP conformation, although their respective functions have not been detailed as yet.
On that note, the Mi 11 Lite is now said to run on the Snapdragon 732G platform, which may strike many Xiaomi fans as a surprising (not to mention non-5G) downgrade from the Mi 10 Lite and 10T Lite. This SoC is apparently part of 1 SKU with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The next-gen budget Mi variant will have a 120 hertz (Hz) refresh rate at least, although this spec will apply to an LCD display as with the 10T Lite. Finally, the upcoming phone might have a price tag of about US$350, although this figure might only be relevant to the Vietnamese market from which The Pixel has derived its new leak.
