The Redmi Note 10 5G may be coming to the US and India as a POCO re-brand
Xiaomi has just issued an intention to launch the M2103K19PG in the US soon. Eagle-eyed Redmi fans might recognize this model number as belonging to the Note 10 5G, but with a slight modification. This is because the OEM will ship it with POCO branding instead in its new market, based on what the FCC has been told about it, at least.
That authority has been informed that the M2103K19PG and M2103K19G (the Note 10 5G) are identical in every respect - except for their rear panels, which will bear the POCO logo in the case of the former. Therefore, US consumers might stand to see a new smartphone with a 90Hz 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and a 5,000mAh battery.
This "new POCO" has also reportedly been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) as the M2103K19PI, suggesting it will also launch in its jurisdiction soon. As to what it might be called when it gets there, speculation is strongly trending toward its being an M3 Pro on launch. This would make it the first 5G device from this series (not to mention this brand) in the country.
