The Huawei Nova 7 series may have much in common with the Honor 30 phones: new leak
Huawei released the Nova 6 series in December 2019: now, less than 6 months later, it seems to have the next generation of these smartphones in the works. They have allegedly been leaked onto Weibo, showing phones that look much like the Honor 30-line phones that have been released recently. However, the "new Novas" may have different rear-camera modules.
The putative new phones are referred to as successors to the Nova 6 SE, Nova 6, and Nova 6 Pro. The first of these 3 devices is characterized as powered by the Kirin 820 SoC, whereas the remaining 2 are allegedly Kirin 985 phones. This would make them analogs of the Honor 30s, Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro respectively.
Similarly, they are also depicted as having the same screens as their apparent Honor counterparts. However, the Nova 7s may diverge from this series in terms of cameras. The base-model 7 is now linked to quad cameras with a 64MP main shooter, whereas the Honor 30's largest sensor is 40MP.
The 7 Pro may have similar camera specs, but replace 1 of the 7's sensors with the 8MP periscope lens from the Honor 30 Pro and Pro+. It may also have a dual hole-punch for selfie cameras, whereas the 7 SE and 7 have a single in-display sensor. Finally, all 3 of these possible Novas may have 4000mAh batteries with support for 40 watt (W) charging.
