The Tecno 12-inch Megapad Pro tablet features a 2K display, Dolby speakers, and AI tools like Ella Assistant, Smart Scanner, and real-time translation in 50 languages. It can also be used as a second monitor with computers.

Tecno has unveiled the 12-inch Megapad Pro Android tablet with AI-powered features at IFA 2025.

The 90 Hz display has a 2K resolution offering up to 450 nits of brightness and low-blue light certification. Four Dolby speakers provide sound for movies and meetings. An optional Tecno keyboard can be purchased for faster text entry.

A dedicated button launches the Tecno Ella Assistant, an AI-powered chatbot that can assist with writing documents, leveraging its ability to convert images in photos to text, or simply socializing during breaks. The AI Drawing Board and Smart Scanner can assist with document scanning and the conversion of rough sketches into presentation-ready drawings. The tablet leverages its noise cancelling microphones when providing real-time translations in 50 languages.

The Megapad Pro can be used as a second screen for computers. Owners can also mirror their smartphone screens to the tablet, simplifying message handling. The tablet is designed for easy file sharing among Tecno AI Ecosystem products, including the Tecno Slim smartphone. The tablet is powered by a 10,000 mAh battery with up to eight hours of runtime, according to Tecno.

Pricing, availability, and additional specifications have also not been revealed. Readers who don't want to wait to buy a nice Android tablet might want to consider this tablet with a low eye-strain screen.
