Samsung has launched its latest phone for the Indian market as one with quad rear cameras, a 5,000mAh battery and 12-band 5G support. The Galaxy M32 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity processor, has up to 8GB of RAM and has (almost suspiciously) up-to-date mid-range Samsung looks. Its preview page on Amazon.in indicates that it will go live in September 2021.

Samsung India has already released the Galaxy M32; now, it has announced a 5G version of this phone. The OEM asserts that this new entrant is particularly futureproof as it supports 12 of the bands available in the country (N1, N3, N5, N7, N8, N20, N28, N66, N38, N40, N41 and N78)...which seems not to say much for other handsets already on this market.

In terms of design, there is no getting away from the fact that the 'new' M-series device is a direct re-brand of the Galaxy A32 5G. There are very few differences between the 2 Dimensity 720-powered phones, except that the M32 is slated to come in 6 to 8GB RAM SKUs only, whereas its A-series counterpart has 4GB options in some markets.

The One UI 3.1-powered M32 5G is, accordingly, touted to emulate a boss with potentially fortuitous specs such as a 5,000mAh battery, which might indeed keep a notched 60Hz HD+ LCD display on for quite some time. Then again, Samsung has prepared 2 new colorways for this iteration, called Sky Blue and Slate Black, as opposed to the A32 5G's quad "Awesome" choices.

The M32 5G will start at INR 20,999 (~US$282) for a 6/128GB unit, although there may be INR 2,000 rebates for payment using HDFC bank cards involved. It can be ordered from Amazon.in or Samsung's Indian web-store from September 2, 2021.
