The Redmi Pad 2 made its official debut earlier in June 2025 as a new budget-friendly tablet. Xiaomi later made it available across the EU and UK, and now, the affordable tab has become a little more accessible worldwide. That is, it has just been listed on AliExpress, with the WiFi variant currently starting at $161.11.
For those who missed our launch coverage, the Redmi Pad 2 sports an 11-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit color depth. Xiaomi highlights that the screen comes with multiple eye-care technologies, ensuring all-day eye comfort.
Under the hood, the Redmi Pad 2 packs the Helio G100 Ultra, an entry-level SoC from MediaTek. It's paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Speaking of the storage, it's expandable, as the affordable tablet features a microSDXC slot, which can house up to a 2 TB card (1 TB SanDisk UHS-I curr. $79.94 on Amazon).
A 9,000 mAh battery powers the internals of this Xiaomi tablet, and it comes with 18 W fast charging support. As for the cameras, the back has an 8 MP sensor, while the front features a 5 MP selfie camera. Among the other highlights of the Redmi Pad 2 are WiFi 5, a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, HyperOS 2.1, and compatibility with the Redmi Smart Pen.
