An EEC listing for an unknown Nvidia GPU has shown up with the model number PG136C. The entry is rumored to be for the upcoming RTX 3090 Ti. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti was previously reported to have been delayed indefinitely.

A mysterious entry in the EEC database for an unknown Nvidia graphics card has been spotted by Twitter user @harukaze5719. The GPU listed in the database bears the model number PG136C. Rumors have it that the card is the RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition. There is no way to know for sure whether the PG136C model number refers to the RTX 3090 Ti FE, so don’t take the information as gospel.

We previously reported that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has reportedly been delayed indefinitely. If the EEC listing is to be taken seriously, the GPU might be closer to the launch than we anticipated. However, according to Tom's Hardware, we don’t know whether the GPU in the EEC database was added by Nvidia or a third party. If the database entry was made by Nvidia then we can assume that the launch is fairly close. Otherwise, the card can be farther out.

The RTX 3090 Ti is rumored to include 10,752 CUDA cores and 24 GB of GDDR6X memory. Except for some vague TFLOP numbers, Nvidia didn’t provide any official specs of the GPU at the company’s CES 2022 presentation. So, the jury is still out on the final technical specs of the GPU as well as the price tag.
