No sooner had the new Redmi Turbo 4 Pro hit the Chinese market than rumors of its release to the international market re-badged as the Poco F7 began to arise. Now, it is thought to do so as the first ever Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 smartphone for the Indian market.
There is also a Poco F7 Ultra, the similarly re-branded Redmi K80 Pro that is now available in Europe for €749 via Amazon. The device challenges even the Xiaomi 15 Ultra with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and 2K display resolution, but faster 120W charging.
It could join the F7 on the Indian market, as hinted by a social media post by Poco India executive Himanshu Tandon (as it contains the caption, "Ultravision sees it all").
If so, that could debunk an earlier leak suggesting that the Ultra would not grace shelves in that country, although no more has been said about a possible launch date for the new brand flagship thus far.
The vanilla F7, on the other hand, is predicted by the typically reliable leaker Yogesh Brar to debut in May 2025.
