9tripod has introduced the Pico Pi V2.0, a single-board computer (SBC) that relies on the Rockchip RK3588S. As the company's marketing images show, the Pico Pi V2.0 is a dead ringer for the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B. As such, the Pico Pi V2.0 measures 85 x 56 mm. In other words, the Pico Pi V2.0 has the same form factor as the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B.

According to 9tripod, the Pico Pi V2.0 runs Android 12 or Debian 11 and supports the Yocto Project for building custom Linux distributions. For reference, the Rockchip RK3588S has an NPU that delivers up to 6 TOPS of performance, plus an ARM Mali-G610 GPU, four Cortex-A55 CPU cores and four Cortex-A76 cores. Additionally, 9tripod includes the following I/O:

  • 1x 3.5 mm jack
  • 1x 4-lane MIPI DSI connector
  • 1x 40-pin GPIO header
  • 1x Gigabit LAN

  • 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
  • 2x USB 3.0 Type-A
  • 1x USB Type-C (DisplayPort)
  • 1x USB Type-C (5V/3A)
