Oppo is still leaving fans in the dark as to when the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will receive an official release. Regardless, executive Zhou Yibao has now shared more concrete details about both smartphones. Reposted to Weibo after a livestream event, it seems that the head of Oppo's Find division has only physically shown the Find X9 rather than the Find X9 Pro, too.
Nonetheless, Zhou Yibao has revealed specifications and information about both of Oppo's upcoming flagships. Drawing direct comparison with the Apple iPhone 17, Yibao claims that the Find X9 'can power two iPhone 17s' with its 7,025 mAh battery and apparent 80 W wired charging. Meanwhile, the Find X9 Pro will line up with a 7,500 mAh battery and the same wired charging capabilities.
Moreover, the same executive hints that the Find X9 series will feature cold-carved glass just like the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro. On top of that, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro contain titanium colour bodies with allegedly narrower display bezels than the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 16 Pro (curr. $747 - refurbished on Amazon) before it.
Also, Yibao claims that the Find X9 series will launch with 'video upgrades' to rival the iPhone, which remains the gold standard in this area. Similarly, the pair will benefit from Hasselblad's imaging suite, unlike the OnePlus 15. At the time of writing, Oppo is expected to introduce the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro around the time MediaTek officially launches the Dimensity 9500, which was previously rumoured to arrive on September 22.
