OnePlus 3 coming next month

OnePlus 3 has been in the rumor mill for a while and, in addition to the usual leaked specs and renders, it looks like this next-gen "flagship killer" has been spotted in the wild as well. Obviously, OnePlus did not confirm any details yet, but it looks like the official launch date got out somehow.

Android Authority user Ashi apparently had a conversation with someone from OnePlus that he shared with the rest of us. When asking about the launch date of OnePlus 3, he received the following answer: "The OnePlus 3 will be fully revealed on June 14th through our VR launch experience but you can still watch it without a headset." Until the official confirmation shows up or the actual launch takes place, this should be as official as it gets.

The alleged specs of the upcoming handset include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, a 5.5-inch full HD display, a 16 MP main camera, 64 GB internal storage, as well as NFC connectivity. We will get back to the OnePlus 3 as soon as we hear anything new, so stay tuned.
