OPPO's VP denies some new leaks that point to new Find X2 variants
According to renders apparently obtained by PriceBaba, the smartphone OEM OPPO is about to bring 2 new additions into the Find X2 line-up. So far, it consists of Samsung Galaxy S20-series contenders the X2 and X2 Pro. Now, however, they may soon be joined by devices called the Neo and Lite.
However, they are not to be completely new phones. The putative Find X2 Lite has the same looks as the OPPO Reno3 Youth (sometimes also known as the Vitality) Edition, a mid-ranger with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, the Snapdragon 765 SoC, 8GB of RAM and a 48MP main rear camera. Similarly, the X2 Neo seems to be the same as the Reno3 Pro.
However, PriceBaba believes that this will be the 5G version currently only sold in China, and not the 4G variant of this phone sold internationally. This is plausible enough so far - however, OPPO's VP has reportedly trashed an even half of this leak. He claims that, if such a rebrand is happening, it is not being planned by the OEM.
