According to typically knowledgeable leaker Digital Chat Station, OPPO will unleash third-gen flagships for the Enco series of wireless earbuds soon. They should still bear Dynaudio co-branding, albeit with a new dual DAC system powered by the Hengxuan BES2700 chipset.
They are to be joined by "11mm bass + 6mm tweeter" dual drivers in the Enco X3s, not to mention 50dB noise reduction likely to beat the "wide-band" ANC of their predecessors. Support for 192kHz/24bit lossless audio is also mentioned.
The X3s are also tipped to support LHDC 5.0 as opposed to LHDC 4.0, and to upgrade from Bluetooth 5.2 to 5.4. These specs, while potentially impressive compared to those of the X2s, might not be surprising given that OPPO's most recent advancements in the mobile audio space have in fact been seen before.
Earbuds virtually identical to those in Digital Chat Station's new Weibo post already exist in the form of the latest Buds Pro 3 from the OPPO brand OnePlus.
Accordingly, it will be interesting to see if the X3s' apparently 566mAh, apparently 43-hour battery case, with 10W wireless charging will come in the same updated flattened egg shape.
Then again, the Buds Pro 3 (and "Enco X3s") are very similar in terms of specs to the Buds 3, which are also on a lower price tier at $79.99 on Amazon.
