New MSI GX70 Gaming Series Notebook

Teaser
The MSI GX70 Gaming Notebook is recommended for Crysis 3

In keeping with their goal of building the fastest possible gaming rig at the lowest price, MSI have announced a new model that vastly outperforms the GX60 that we saw a few months ago.

The GX70 will still offer most of the features touted by its predecessor including Eyefinity (which allows up to three full HD displays to be run simultaneously using HDMI, VGA, and mini-Display Ports),  a Killer Gaming Networking card, and a Steelseries professional gaming keyboard. What sets the GX70 apart is the new AMD A10-5750M quad-core processor with integrated Radeon HD8650G, a Radeon HD 8970M Discrete GPU, and up to 32GB DDR3L.

The upgraded APU (now also available in the updated GX60) is 10-15% faster than the AMD A10-4600M, as well as more power and heat efficient. The dual GPUs offer more power and flexibility by automatically switching to offer either power saving or superior graphics processing depending on the load.

Other features include a 17.3 inch antiglare display, a 128GB SSD (RAID 0),  a 500GB or 750GB hard drive (7200 RPM), an optical drive, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an SD card reader, an HD webcam, 802.11b/g/n WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, and MSI's Audio Boost sound.

MSI are touting the GX70 as 'recommended for Crysis 3' and include a code to download a free copy of the game with each laptop. The Crysis line of games have long been used as top tier benchmarks for gaming computers, so this new MSI laptop is sure to run just about anything available on the market today.

Prices and availability for the GX70 have not yet been announced.
