New Casio G-Shock x Bamford collab watch officially teased, launch imminent
Casio G‑Shock UK and Bamford Watch Department have just posted the same "Soon" teaser on their respective Instagram accounts - a black tile with a Bamford‑blue G - which means that a new co‑branded model is about to be announced. No specs, model code, pricing, or release date have been disclosed yet, although reliable source @morgan_gshock speculates that the new watch will use a GM-5600 base. The new teaser is very reminiscent of prior Bamford collaborations' signature aqua/light blue palette - this new model will the third co-branded one, following the 2020 and 2022 drops.
The partnership began with the Bamford London x G-Shock built on the 5610 "square," officially referenced as GW-M5610BWD20-1ER. It brought Bamford-blue accents to a negative LCD, radio-sync Multi‑Band 6 and Tough Solar, and sold out within minutes, thanks to the collaboration’s hype cycle and resale heat. Launch communications from Casio UK and watch media pegged the sell-out at roughly three minutes, which gives an idea of the pent-up demand associated with both these brands.
The second release moved to the round DW-6900BWD-1ER and introduced a "triple blue" concept across dial, bezel accents and a dual-layer band, with Bamford branding on the face, band and keeper. George Bamford added that the 6900 was his first G-Shock. Once again, this model drew lines at G-Shock’s Carnaby Street store and a fast online sell-through.
