New Anker charger debuts with 100W fast charging and device detection

Anker has introduced a range of new products at IFA 2026, and the Laptop Charger Pro is one of them. There's nothing interesting in terms of the fast charging support, as it maxes out at 100W.
This 100W fast charger can't power more than one device at the same time, as there's only one USB-C port. Instead, what makes it stand out is the device detection feature. As Anker describes, the adapter can identify "new Macs and most Windows laptops," and with the Care Mode turned on, it can maintain a charging curve to expand the lifespan of the battery.
Users can set a custom charging limit as well, which can help to further optimize the battery health. For those wondering, the Care Mode can be turned on by tapping the smart display of the charger. This built-in screen can also show important charging information, including the power output.
Getting back to the device recognition feature, it's worth noting that this function requires a desktop app installation. That is, it can not automatically detect the connected laptop.
The company further highlights that this 100W charger has a relatively compact form factor when compared to regular laptop charging bricks. To be specific, it measures 62x52x34mm, and thanks to the foldable plug, carrying it around should be easy (100W Ugreen retractable travel cable curr. $13.99 on Amazon).
During the showcase, Anker revealed a special Valorant edition, which will likely be available after the initial launch. Speaking of which, the 100W Anker Laptop Charger Pro is set to be available from September 17, 2026, with a retail price of €59.99 in the EU.
