New Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch with flashlight leaks

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch appears to have leaked at a retailer in the Philippines. This wearable builds on the original T-Rex 3, which was unveiled in September 2024. The new outdoor model features various upgrades over its predecessor.

Firstly, the T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch seems to be offered in two sizes and four colors: 48 mm (Tactical Black, Black Gold), the same size as the original, and the smaller 44 mm (Arctic Gold, Black Gold). The larger of the two watches is advertised with an AMOLED display delivering up to 3,000 nits brightness, making it 50% brighter than the standard T-Rex 3. The display is protected by Sapphire glass rather than Gorilla Glass, and the latest model features TC4 titanium alloy buttons.

New hardware on at least the larger T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch could include a two color LED flashlight, and a speaker and microphone for Bluetooth calling. It is said to offer features like Route Planning, with dual-band GPS, and over 180 sports modes to log your exercise. With 10 ATM water resistance, it should be suitable for scuba diving and is freediving certified. Plus, the listing mentions the new BioCharge energy metric, which is not currently available on the brand’s other smartwatches.

Using the current generation BioTracker 6.0 sensor, other tracked health metrics could include heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress level and skin temperature. The larger model should have a 700 mAh battery for up to 25 days of typical use, which is less than the 27-day battery estimate of the standard T-Rex 3. The smaller model is said to have a 640 mAh battery for a 19-day runtime. Both are listed as running on Zepp OS 4.0 with 26 GB memory.

Amazfit has yet to officially announce the T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch globally. The release date and pricing of this new model remain unclear. As an indication as to how much it could cost, the T-Rex 3 smartwatch is available for $279.99 in the US (Amazon).
