Minisforum MS-01 mini PC with discrete GPU support launches soon
Minisforum is preparing to unroll the curtains of the MS-01 mini PC. At the current stage, the mini workstation is in the mass production phase, with the expected launch date being December 20. The first batch will be available in two CPU options: Intel Core i9-13900H and i9-12900H.
Initially announced in August this year, the Minisforum MS-01 is packed to deliver superior performance. Aside from coming with capable processors, the mini PC supports discrete GPUs. To be exact, it has a PCIe 4.0 x8 slot, which can support most of the modern graphics cards. But, due to size constraints, GPUs designed for mini ITX motherboards or low-profile GPUs would likely be the best fit for this system.
Besides, the MS-01 mini workstation from Minisforum can hold three M.2 SSDs or two M.2 SSDs with a U.2 enterprise-class SSD (Western Digital 3.84 TB curr. US$659.99 on Amazon). To meet robust networking needs, the mini PC has two 10G and two 2.5G Ethernet ports. Also, there are multiple USB Type-A ports, two 20G Thunderbolt ports, and one HDMI port.
